What's that carp fishing lake ?

Vaulaurent (pronounced vo - lor - on) is a fully mature family owned lake set in 50 acres of our own land, mainly forested, and is stocked with  carp, largely mirrors and commons.

Where is the lake ?

Brittany, France. Not far from the U.K, we're located in a peaceful rural valley approximately one mile from the village of St Martin sur Oust in the heart of the Morbihan.

Vaulaurent enjoys a warmer and sunnier climate generally than that of southern England.

Only half a hours drive from the walled city of Vannes on the beautiful Gulf of Morbihan, we are easily accessible from all the northern French ports.  St.Malo for example, is our nearest port and is approximately one hour, thirty minutes drive.  We can offer advice and help in making your ferry reservation if you require and usually are able to obtain up to 20% discount on certain routes

Style of carp fishing venue ?

We offer both a 'Drive and Survive' venue, and, for those who prefer it, serviced lakeside cabin accommodation.

A modern amenity block with English style facilities is located close to the swims and anglers cabins are available adjacent to the water.
